Jobs in Hollywood, from those in production to the support jobs in restaurants and stores the creative community relies on, are drying up, Daily Variety reports. Postings for entertainment jobs have dropped by 19,200 from a high of 141,400 in 2008, Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp. chief economist Jack Kyser, tells the trade paper. One temp agency tells Variety that employers are cutting jobs or asking employees to work two or more jobs rather than hiring.
