Rick Garcia, a long-time sportscaster for Fox’s KTTV-TV, Los Angeles, has been hired by CBS-owned KCAL-TV as a news anchor, Daily Variety reports. Garcia will be replacing Sandra Mitchell, who will continue at KCAL, the trade paper says.
