Adam Lambert received a standing ovation from Simon Cowell on Tuesday for the 27-year-old’s version of “Mad World” by Tears for Fears, the Associated Press reports. Lil Rounds, meanwhile, was told by Cowell that her version of “What’s Love Got to Do With It” was a “second- or third-rate version of Tina Turner,” the news service says.
