MLB, Fox Mulling Earlier Start Times

Major League Baseball and Fox Sports are working on plans that would push back the start of the World Series by at least half an hour, Daily Variety reports. The move comes after East Coast viewers criticized the games as starting too late and sometimes ending after midnight, the trade paper says. It would mean Fox would likely begin pre-game coverage at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time, which would cut into stations’ prime access time, the publication says.
