NAB: Can Fans Keep ‘Chuck’ Alive?

Apr 23, 2009  •  Post A Comment

In an interview at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, “Chuck” creator Josh Schwartz tells the Los Angeles Times that he hopes the show’s loyal audience can help keep the program on air for a second season. He had a good meeting with NBC about the show’s future, although he declined to say whether he thinks the show will continue, the newspaper reports. Fans have organized a plan to buy sandwiches at Subway on Monday before the show’s season finale, a gesture of support because the sandwich company was featured in a recent episode, Schwartz tells the newspaper.

  1. This show contains the required village idiot, is silly and stupid, and, as such, will probably be kept on the air while quality shows such as “Friday Night Lights” struggle to survive.

  2. Didn’t FNL already GET renewed on DirecTV/NBC? Yes, it did. But fans of Chuck have to wait longer for a decision. So quit whining.
What’s wrong w/silly and stupid fun TV shows anyway?

  3. Chuck is in it’s second season. Should say return for a third season!
