NBC has tapped Jason Katims of “Friday Night Lights” to oversee a new version of “The Wizard of Oz” story called “Dorothy Gale,” Daily Variety reports. The project, written by Bridget Carpenter, follows Dorothy as she arrives in Manhattan and deals with an evil boss, the trade paper says.
