Harry Kalas, the Philadelphia Phillies’ announcer, died Monday, the Associated Press reports. The longtime announcer, famous for his “Outta here!” calls after homerun hits, was found dead in the broadcast booth before a game with the Washington Nationals, the news service says. Kalas had been with the Phillies since 1971, the AP adds.
