Sunday morning’s political talk shows are including more blacks, with 40 appearances by black Americans on one of the four broadcast shows this year, the Associated Press reports. A year earlier, the Sunday morning shows had 25 appearances by black Americans, the news agency says. “We wanted to try to broaden the voices that we have on our round-table, and that includes more diverse voices in terms of race, gender and inside and outside of Washington,” “Meet the Press” executive producer Betsy Fischer tells the AP.
