“CBS Sunday Morning” will broadcast in high-definition beginning May 17, Broadcasting & Cable reports. “‘Sunday Morning’ has a lot of different elements, between the cover stories and the personal profiles, so it’s one of the more exciting hi-def opportunities,” CBS News President Sean McManus tells the trade publication.

All I have to say is, about dang time! This is the perfect show for HD, esp. with the final nature video (my favorite part). It’s really bugged by that it’s still SD.
