“Chuck” has been renewed, Television Week’s TV MoJoe blog reports. NBC signed on for 13 episodes following an Internet campaign by fans to save the program, the Los Angeles Times reports. Still, the show will have to cut costs, which was part of the negotiations for renewing the program, Daily Variety reports. CBS is reportedly near to renewing “Cold Case,” which may mean “Without a Trace” won’t have a spot on the network’s fall schedule as both shows were thought to be candidates for one time slot, the LA Times adds.
