NBC Unleashes Promo Machine Early

NBC is beginning to promote its fall series this week, five months before the start of the fall season, TelevisionWeek reports. NBC will tell advertisers it will be scheduling at least six half-hour specials based on the satirical “Weekend Update” news segments from “Saturday Night Live, the New York Times says.
