NBC’s Graboff: Leno to Get Prime CPMs

NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios Co-Chairman Marc Graboff tells Daily Variety in an interview that Jay Leno’s new show at 10 p.m. next season will get “as close, if not at a primetime CPM level” from advertisers. When asked whether co-chair Ben Silverman will still be working with Graboff in six months to a year, he remarks, “I do think so. And I gotta tell you, I hope so,” Variety reports. Asked about Turner using NBC as a punchline at last year’s upfronts, Graboff tells the publication, “There’s no doubt NBC has been the pinata of the television business. Some of that is self-inflicted and we know that.”
