Famously impatient Sumner Redstone has been strangely supportive as Viacom under CEO Philippe Dauman underperforms the cable-network sector, the Wall Street Journal reports. The paper says Dauman may have to overhaul management at MTV Networks, but Viacom says the unit’s CEO Judy McGrath has Dauman’s support.
