CBS News’ “60 Minutes” on Sunday will be devoted entirely to its creator and former executive producer Don Hewitt, who passed away Wednesday, reports TVNewser.
The “60 Minutes” correspondents will do individual segments on the newsman’s contributions to the TV news business.

60 Minutes is not enough time to fully portray Hewitt’s many contributions to the medium, however, it is fitting that his former cadre salute their fallen leader and “tell their story” on the very broadcast he designed and refined to a polished TV Gem.
I am confident that they will do their, (and his), legacies proud.
