Richard Hatch, the first "Survivor” winner, unexpectedly found himself back in jail yesterday after doing interviews with the "Today" show and NBC affiliate WJAR-TV and NBC’s “Access Hollywood.”

 According to the Associated Press, Hatch, who was under house arrest as he finished up a prison sentence for tax evasion, had permission to do an interview with NBC’s “Today,” but not the other two shows. Hatch’s lawyer said she had thought the permission extended to other NBC properties.
