What Hitchcock, Lassie, Lucy, ‘The Honeymooners,’ ‘Perry Mason’ and Groucho Marx All Have in Common

They are all the subject of new stamps issued this week by the U.S. Postal Service, reports the Associated Press. The stamps all feature characters from classic 1950s TV shows.

Those making the cut include “Lassie,” “I Love Lucy,” Milton Berle on “Texaco Star Theater,” George Burns and Gracie Allen, Jackie Gleason and Art Carney in “The Honeymooners,” Sgt. Ernest T. Bilko, Groucho Marx’ “You Bet Your Life,” Alfred Hitchcock," “Dragnet” and “Perry Mason.”
