High-rated cable networks  USA, TNT and TBS have emerged as the standouts in this year’s upfront market, even compared with some of their broadcast competitors, Advertising Age reports.

The three basic cable networks are said by multiple executives to be leading the cable market with the smallest loss margins in pricing, banking average decreases of 2% to 6% in the cost of reaching 1,000 viewers, or CPM, Ad Age says.

Most broadcast networks agreed to CPM rollbacks in the 1% to 3% range.

The cable upfront is estimated by three executives to be 60% to 70% completed by week’s end.

  1. No single strategy can work all the time. Its good to follow a trend but there are times when we need to analyze if the current price level is peak or bottom and at those time we need to go against the recet trend or a reversal. Similarly technical works for short-term trading but we can’t avoid fundamentals. Even the combination of fundamental and technical can fail and we have to also understand the market or mass psychology and market perception. Above all the trading decipline can win the game. This is the reason that we kepy one section on Psychology on ForexAbode.com.
