Los Angeles’ historic KTLA has announced that Victoria Recano, who has been a correspondent on the syndicated entertainment program "The Insider," will co-anchor the station’s 6 pm and 10 pm newscasts starting Sept. 24.

Joining Recano as co-anchor will be Micah Ohlman, who’s been anchoring newscasts on the weekend on rival station KABC in the nation’s second-largest market.

They replace Emmett Miller, who has be reassigned to morning newscasts, and Leila Feinstein. No word on what she will do. Miller was brought to the evening newscasts after Hal Fishman, a legend in the LA news market, died in 2007. Replacing Fishman has not been an enviable task. He was a news anchor for for 47 years.
