The death of DJ AM on Friday from a suspected drug overdose left in limbo an upcoming MTV reality series featuring him helping young people battling addiction, says Variety.
The eight-episode series, called “Gone Too Far,” had wrapped filming and was supposed to launch on Oct. 5. The network is expected to make a decision on what to do with the show sometime this week.
DJ AM, whose real name was Adam Goldstein, was found dead Friday evening in New York. He and Travis Barker of Blink-182 were the only two survivors of a 2008 small plane crash in South Carolina.
