On the Greatness of Tiger Woods

Aug 17, 2009  •  Post A Comment

Tiger Woods is not a TV personality per se. His connection to TV, besides being in commercials hawking some products, is that the ratings of golf tournaments in which he participates are hugely higher than those in which he does not participate.

That beng said, we flagged this mavelous piece about Tiger losing the PGA championship yesterday not because it’s about TV, but because it’s a wonderful piece about sports, and has an interesting angle on the greatness of Tiger. It’s by Cameron Morfit, a senior writer at Golf Magazine.
