Fox Changes Mind: ‘King of the Hill’ Ends Its 13-Season Reign With Two New Episodes in Sept.

Aug 11, 2009  •  Post A Comment

After 13 seasons, the “King of the Hill” will conclude with a one-hour series finale September 13 on Fox, the company has said in a press release

Technically speaking, the series finale is actually two new back-to-back half hour episodes.

Last week, during a session at the TV Critic’s Association’s summer tour,  Fox said that it would not air any of the remaining episodes; apparently the network has changed its mind. The remaining 4 unaired episodes of the show are expected to be included with the show’s syndicated run.
