Using a proprietary algorithm, a Texas-based company says "ObamaVision" is the most influential word from TV this year, Reuters reports.
The company, Global Language Monitor, released what it calls its list of top ten telewords–the most influential words from TV– to coincide with the beginning of the new TV season.
Most of the words on the list are actually two words or phrases. Here’s the rest of the list:
2) Financial Meltdown
3) Michael Jackson
4) Susan Boyle
7) Dar Dour (The Iraqi TV show spoof)
9) "And that’s the way it is"
