Stephen Root, who played Eddie Gautier, a vampire crazy about Lafayette in HBO’s "True Blood," has joined the cast of "24" for a multiepisode appearance, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Ah ha! So next season must have something to do with Jack saving us from vampires! We knew it!
(OK. Maybe not. THR says Root is gonna play a parole officer.)
