Tonight will be the first time since 1980 that NBC flagship WNBC doesn’t air news at 5 p.m., reports B&C.

The station is replacing its groundbreaking and long-running “Live at Five” with the new “LX New York,” trading traffic and the mayor for live chat about fashion and celebrities.
