It was non-stop entertainment during Sunday night’s Video Music Awards live from the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
The show got started with a moving tribute to Michael Jackson from Madonna.
Then there were dynamite performances from Beyonce, Jay-Z, Lada Gaga, Pink, Taylor Swift, Green Day, to name just some of them.
Kanye West was asked to leave the VMAs after he jumped on stage and interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video to say that Beyonce should have won the award.
Later Beyonce, when she won Best Video of the Year, said how much winning her first VMA award meant to her when she was with "Destiny’s Child," then called Swift back on stage to finish her acceptance speech.
Best New Artist went to Lady Gaga, Best Hip Hop Video to Eminen, and Best Pop Video to Britney Spears.
