NFL to Experiment With 3-D Game in Dallas Stadium

Dec 8, 2009  •  Post A Comment

The NFL will experiment with a 3-D presentation of Sunday’s game at Cowboys Stadium when the Dallas Cowboys play the San Diego Chargers, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

HDlogix’s ImageIQ 3D, an Edison, N.J.-based company, will provide the 3-D broadcast, which fans at the stadium will see on the huge video screen perched over the field. Attendees will receive the 3-D glasses when they enter the stadium.

This is the first time the technology is being used to convert standard HD from 2-D to 3-D without months of production.
