For the second time in less than a week the head of a cable network has announced her or his departure.
After months of rumors, Andrea Wong said Friday that she’s leaving her post as president and CEO of Lifetime Entertainment Services, TheWrap reports. As previously reported, last week Ryan O’Hara said he was leaving his post as president of the TV Guide Network.
Her replacement, TheWrap says, is most likely going to be Nancy Dubuc, the president and general manager of the History Channel. There are still issues to be worked out, however, including whether Dubuc will continue to run History, as well as Lifetime.
Wong had been expected to leave since A&E Television Networks, which includes History, acquired Lifetime last August.
