Fox has announced that the recently launched reincarnation drama "Past Life" has been canceled, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The show came in fourth in Thursday night’s ratings, prompting the move by Fox.

For the next three weeks, Fox will show fresh episodes of "Kitchen Nightmares" in the Thursday timeslot vacated by "Past Life."

Sometime in the future, the remaining episodes of "Past Life" will be aired.
