One actress is moving away from the lights of Dillon, Texas to the glitzy neon of Las Vegas, serving as an associate lawyer.
Young actress Jurnee Smollett, who’s a regular on NBC’s "Friday Night Lights," has landed a key role on the CBS pilot "Defenders," reports Entertainment Weekly.
The actress will complete the last season of "FNL," which shoots this summer, before moving on to the CBS legal drama… if it makes it beyond the pilot stage.
