NYC Police Probe Parking Pass Used by Seinfeld’s Driver

Feb 26, 2010  •  Post A Comment

Jerry Seinfeld’s driver had a police placard he shouldn’t have and now the New York Police Department wants to know why, the Associated Press reports.

The parking placard was supposedly turned in at the end of 2007, but Seinfeld’s driver, a retired police officer, displayed it in the comedian’s car when he needed to park so he could escort Seinfeld through a crowd.

The comedian’s spokeswoman said Seinfeld wasn’t aware of the placard but is nonetheless taking responsibility. The police are investigating.
