The winner of the Olympics gold medal for the women’s downhill last Wednesday, American Lindsey Vonn, was reportedly very eager to hear Tiger Woods’ televised confessional statement last Friday, but she missed it.

Then, according to an article by Sean Gregory at Time.com, "When a member of her Vonn-tourage tells her that Woods gave a few friends hugs after ending his statement, she cracks, ‘They’re like, ‘Yeah, you’re awesome, you go have that sex.’ "

Gregory’s article continues, saying that those who heard Vonn’s remark laughed, and "Then she describes a skit she would want to perform if asked to host ‘Saturday Night Live’: picture Vonn at Woods’ podium, blue backdrop and all. ‘There’s something you don’t know about me,’ Vonn says in a faux solemn, apologetic voice. ‘Tiger, you’re like my idol, and I too have a sex problem.’ More laughter [from those in the room with Vonn]. ‘That would be freaking funny.’ "

Vonn, like Woods, is married. In the New York Daily News reporting of the Time.com account they said several people who witnessed Vonn’s remarks did not think Vonn knew her remarks were being recorded. Time reporter Gregory told the Daily News that Vonn did not say her remarks were off-the-record.

Finally, the Daily News wrote: "Perhaps the most delicious irony of the episode is that Vonn, like Woods, is managed by IMG, the same talent agency that devised Woods’ carefully scripted performance on Friday."
