Like Comcast, Cox Communications has agreed to broadcast the upcoming Masters Golf Tournament from Augusta, Georgia in 3D, reports B&C.

Commencing April 7, Sony Electronics will be providing the 3D transmission through a deal with Augusta National and today Cox announced plans to present the 3D broadcast to Cox Advanced TV customers who have an HD or HD/DVR receiver and a new 3D-capable HDTV set with accompanying glasses and HDMI connection.

ESPN is producing the 3D broadcast on site.

Cox will also offer subscribers access to the 3D content on their On DEMAND library, including replays of each 3D telecast and 3D highlights the day after the live feed.
