Tim Allen and the good folks over at TV Land are doing what they can to help repair the slight the late actress Farrh Fawcett received by being ignored by the Oscarcast’s salute to stars that have passed away in the last year.

Allen will be the host of the Eighth Annual TV Land Awards, and the show will include a special tribute to Fawcett as well as to "Charlie’s Angels," the show that made her famous, TV Land has announced.

The Awards show will also honor the casts of "Glee" and "Everybody Loves Raymond."

The show tapes April 17th for airing on April 25.

The retro award show honors current and television shows of the past, with former award recipients including the casts of "Cheers," "MASH," and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show."

The show tapes April 17, and will air Sunday, April 25 at 9 p.m.

  1. But will they honor Gene Barry or did the TV Land Awards honor him last year (for Burke’s Law, among other shows.)
The Academy missed him this year, too, even though 1953’s War of the Worlds is considered a classic film.
