PBS today named Brian J. Reddington senior VP of development, in charge of heading up the expansion of the network’s fundraising efforts.
Reddington will guide the PBS strategy to produce more revenue for member stations and pump up media attention to the educational, arts and documentary programming.
In addition to raising money for the PBS network, Reddington will also oversee the PBS Foundation, which elicits philanthropic gifts in support of the channel. Reddington will report to COO Michael D. Jones.
