Ryan Hansen of ‘Veronica Mars’ Tapped to Star in NBC Pilot

Ryan Hansen of "Veronica Mars" has been tapped to star a NBC comedy pilot, The Hollywood Reporter says.

"Friends With Benefits" focuses on a group of friends in their 20s who are happy to have friends of the title description until they find their soul mates. Hansen is replacing Patrick J. Adams, who was first tapped for the role.

In the same article THR also reports that "Orlando Jones is set as a lead in Fox’s comedy pilot ‘Tax Man’ [with the previously announced Martin Shor]. Additionally, Mircea Monroe is set as a regular on Showtime’s new comedy series ‘Episodes,’ starring Matt LeBlanc, and Ritchie Coster has landed a lead role in HBO’s drama pilot ‘Luck.’ "
