‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Ratings Spike, Likely Due to Bret Michaels’ Medical Woes

Ratings for NBC’s "Celebrity Apprentice" spiked on Sunday’s edition of the program, most likely because of fan concern over the critical medical condition of contestant Bret Michaels, EW.com‘s Hollywood Insider blog reports.

Michaels, who suffered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage last week and remains in critical condition, risked getting fired by Donald Trump in the episode (taped before his medical emergency) because he brought in the smallest amount of money for his team.

The show added 1.03 million viewers from its previous week’s 6.82 million total viewers, while jumping 20% in the 18- to 49-year-old demographic.

  1. Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.

  2. Nice blog subject. thanks for letting me add something!
