CNBC Wants a Squawker to Squawk More

Apr 8, 2010  •  Post A Comment

CNBC is working on a lunchtime program featuring one of its "Squawker" contributors, Henry Blodget reports on Business Insider.

Citing a source familiar with the discussions, Blodget says the new show would feature David Faber and might cut down the time scheduled for CNBC’s current "Power Lunch" show.

Faber currently is a contributor on the network’s "Squawk on the Street," which airs at 9 a.m., and breaks news and contributes analysis during the "Faber Report," according to CNBC’s Website.

"Power Lunch" stars Sue Herrera, Dennis Kneale, Michelle Caruso Cabrera, and Tyler Mathisen.

According to the article, a CNBC spokesman declined to comment.
