Fox is bringing back one of television’s longest-lived shows, theHollywood Reporter reports.

"Cops" is one of the few primetime broadcast series to keep its ratings steady this year, the article says. Its Saturday night broadcast has been drawing a steady 5 million viewers per week, although its Friday episodes have been declining, the article says. The show, which began in 1989, has shown 2,044 arrests in 140 U.S. cities and will soon mark its 800th episode on the network.

  1. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
