David Lyle, who had recently worked as president of Fox Reality Channel, has been tapped as president of Fox Look,Multichannel News reports.
In his new role, Lyle will report directly to Fox Networks Group CEO Tony Vinciquerra and oversee a unit that handles international licensing and production of unscripted shows from Fox Broadcasting and Fox Cable Networks, the article says.
The unit’s goal is to license formats internationally and establish new production companies in different geographic areas to create local versions of U.S. programs, the trade publication says. It’ll also seek out partnerships with international production companies to create reality formats, Multichannel News adds.
Lyle has also previously worked as president of entertainment at FremantleMedia North America and head of development at Nine Network in Australia.
