NAB to Feature 3D Technology and Debate

Apr 9, 2010  •  Post A Comment

With 3D grabbing movie goers and 3D television sets coming to market, the annual convention of the National Association of Broadcasters in Las Vegas next week, will focus on 3D-related issues such as broadcast standards and efforts to standardize glasses, the Hollywood Reporter says.

One issue is that eyeglasses allowing viewers to watch 3D on one television set may not work with other sets. "We want to be sure the maximum number of people can see the content," Peter Fannon, vice president of corporate affairs at Panasonic, tells THR. Panasonic will be among the companies at NAB demonstrating new 3D technology and techniques.
