The "Approval Matrix" is one of New York Magazine’s most popular recurring features, a grid that illustrates where cultural tidbits fall on a scale of highbrow, lowbrow, brilliant or despicable.

Now Bravo is hoping to tap into some of that appeal, the New York Post reports.

Former New York executive editor Michael Hirschorn last week sold a show based on the feature to Bravo.

The series, also called "Approval Matrix," will show four pop culture experts debating the week’s news items. Hirschorn, a former VH1 programming executive responsible for "I Love the ’80s," will co-executive produce the show with his production company Ish Entertainment.
