"On the Case with Paula Zahn" has been renewed for a third season by Investigation Discovery, B&C reports.

The renewal comes after the premiere of the show’s second season on April 18 drew a record 541,000 households for the network. Its total viewer audience of 659,000 ranked as the network’s second-highest ever. The news magazine has become one of the network’s "signature programs," drawing viewers who follow Zahn as she travels the U.S. seeking unusual investigations.
