"Sex and the City" writer and producer Michael Patrick King is close to signing a "mega deal" with Warner Bros. Television, reports Nelllie Andreeva on Deadline.com.
King will create his own TV production company based at WBTV in the multi-year deal, which would start in June after he’s finished with the film "Sex and the City 2."
At WBTV, he’ll both focus on working with new writers and on overseeing new series for the studio. It would mark a return to television for King after his 2005 HBO comedy series "The Comeback."
