After Comedy Central censored the ever-controversial "South Park" for its plot regarding the prophet Muhammad last week, comedians have come to the support of "Park," including Comedy Central’s own Jon Stewart. Now, the producers of Fox’s "The Simpsons" have thrown in some encouraging words, The Huffington Post reports.

During yesterday’s episode entitled "The Squirt and the Whale," the iconic opening title scene of Bart writing on the blackboard saw a "South Park" shoutout.

"South Park – We’d stand beside you if we weren’t so scared," the board read.
