Two former NBC pages have inked a one-year overall deal to create comedy projects for Universal Media Studios, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
Sonny Lee and Patrick Walsh have had quite a rise since starting as pages for NBC in New York just four years ago. They caught the notice of NBC executive vice president comedy Jeff Ingold with a spec comedy script about NBC’s page program, and from there went onto writing gigs for "Late Night With Conan O’Brien," "Saturday Night Live," and "It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia."
They also just finished an ABC pilot titled "Family Business."
