Fox Looking to Go After Broadcast Rights for the Olympics With Substantial Bid

NBC may soon be facing some stiff competition for the rights to broadcast future Olympic games, according to Variety. [Variety has a firewall and might ask you to pay for this story. TVSquad has a free version.]

Fox Sports chief David Hill was asked about the Olympics by Variety. He said, "We will make a strong bid next time around."

The television rights for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, and the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro are expected to be determined this Fall by the International Olympic committee.
