First, Katherine Heigl made her decision to leave "Grey’s Anatomy" earlier this year, and now another major star with the show is possibly leaving, Extra reports.

Ellen Pompeo, who plays Meredith Grey on the show, said she might not renew her contract when it expires in two years.

"I haven’t said I’m moving on," Pompeo said  "I said that when my contract is up after Season 8 [in two years], I would probably not renew. I think the world has had a lot of Meredith Grey."
