There will be three new series on the CW for 2010, "Nikita," "Hellcats" and "Plain Jane," while "Melrose Place," "Fly Girls" and "High Society" are officially canceled, reports TVSquad.com.

In addition, returning series are moving: "90210" and "One Tree Hill" are changing places. That means "90210" will be the lead-in on Mondays for "Gossip Girl." "One Tree Hill" will be paired with
"Life Unexpected" on Tuesdays. On Fridays, "Supernatural" will lead in to "Smallville."

Newbie "Hellcats" about a pre-law student getting through college on a cheerleading pass, will be on Wednesdays at 9, following the returning "America’s Next Top Model."

Another new show, "Nikita," is a remake of the film "Le Femme Nikita," about a criminal who’s recruited by the government to become an assassin. It will air on Thursdays, with "The Vampire Dairies" as a lead-in.

As previously reported, "Plain Jane" is a makeover show, hosted by UK fashion expert Louise Roe. It won’t be broadcast till mid-season.

  1. The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
