According to Medialife, "On an intensely competitive night where all the networks had strong lineups, ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” finale took a hit, sliding 27 percent from last spring’s season ender and dipping from Monday night’s final performance show…. ‘Stars’ averaged a 3.8 adults 18-49 rating from 9 to 11 p.m., according to Nielsen overnights, its lowest finale rating ever."

The article continues, "The show may have been hurt by the strong competition or the fact that there wasn’t much suspense in the episode. Everyone knew Nicole Scherzinger would win."

Among other shows, "Stars" was up against the performance finale of "American Idol."

  1. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
