Veteran Hollywood producer Fred Fuchs, whose credits include "The Godfather, Part III," has left the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation to oversee the new version of Take 5’s "Camelot" for Starz Entertainment, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

"Camelot" will be filmed in Ireland this summer, for broadcast next year as a 10-part mini-series for Starz.

  1. I think Starz is on the right path with its original mini-series, but at some point they’ll have to break out with something of their own. “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” is clearly a reply to HBO’s “Rome,” “Camelot” is clearly a response to HBO’s “The Tudors,” Crash is based off of the Lions Gate film…Chris Albrecht is the man, but lets see some ORIGINAL original programming out of Starz; stop playing defensively.
